Matthew Hunt, M.D.
Dr. Hunt earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine followed by his neurological surgery residency training at Oregon Health and Science University. He then pursued two fellowships, blood brain barrier and neurosurgical oncology at Oregon Health and Science University and clinical neurosurgery at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London.
Dr. Hunt's clinical interests include neuro-oncology, general neurosurgery, and spinal neurosurgery. He specializes in the treatment of primary and metastatic brain tumors, including gliomas such as astrocytoma and glioblastoma. Treatment including conventional and MRI-guided surgery, stereotactic radiosurgery, and blood brain barrier modification are offered in appropriate circumstances.
