Crusoe Nan
|
Crusoe received his MD from Hubei Medical University in Hubei, China and then received his Ph.D. from Shanghai Medical University, where he focused on electrophysiology and neurosurgical training. He worked as an associate professor of Neurosurgery at Shanghai First People’s Hospital prior to accepting a position as a post-doctoral associate at the University of Minnesota in the Neurosurgery research lab in 2001. He is currently researching the therapeutic potential of stem cells on rodent models of striatal hematoma, middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) and stroke.
