Research

Research Summary/Interests

Research Interests

Dr. Hunt's research interests involve novel treatments and imaging of brain tumors. He collaborates extensively with other researchers at the U of M to develop innovative treatments for patients with gliomas and meningiomas. He also collaborates with his former colleagues in Oregon in developing new MRI contrast agents for imaging brain tumors.

Research Projects

Brain Tumor Program: Dr. Hunt is collaborating with a veterinarian and scientist to treat dogs with brain tumors to develop new treatments for brain tumors. He also collaborates with a biomedical engineer to study how invasive brain tumor cells are. He is also working on a first of its kind treatment for patients with meningiomas to help their immune system fight their tumor.
